TOM CHAPIN

In a career that spans six decades, 26 albums and three GRAMMY awards, Hudson Valley Troubadour Tom Chapin has covered an incredible amount of creative ground. In addition to his work as a recording artist and concert performer, Chapin has acted on Broadway, as well as working extensively in television, radio and film.

As a music-maker, the multi-talented singer/songwriter/guitarist has maintained two long and productive parallel careers, both as a highly respected contemporary folk artist and as a pioneer in the field of children’s music. In both roles, Chapin has established a reputation for insightful, heartfelt songcraft and effortlessly charismatic live performances. He continues to engage the hearts, minds and imaginations of young listeners with witty, life-affirming original songs delivered in a sophisticated array of musical styles. In either format, Chapin’s infectious songs, sterling musicianship and personal warmth consistently shine through, whether he’s performing on record or in a concert hall, an outdoor festival, a school, in front of a symphony orchestra or in an intimate coffeehouse.

The New York Times called Chapin “one of the great personalities in contemporary folk music,” while Billboard called him “the best family artist around” and described him as “totally captivating.” Parents magazine stated, “Nobody today is writing and performing better kids’ songs than Tom Chapin.”

EARLY ELTON TRIO

A Rock n’ Roll archaeological dig is underway, as Early Elton Trio pays tribute to the Elton John, Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson trio tours of 1970 to 1972.

Early Elton Trio features Jeff Kazee of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (piano, vocals), Rich Pagano of The Fab Faux (drums and vocals) and John Conte of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (bass and vocals). Jeff, John and Rich have painstakingly sourced video, bootleg recordings and even Elton’s own home demos in shaping their collective vision of Elton’s Trio Period—blurring the line between replication and innovation—while still capturing and utilizing the spirit, mood and Rock & Roll energy from those early tours.

The Gospel/Funk of “Take Me To The Pilot”, the soulful storytelling of”Levon”, “Amoreena” and “Madman Across The Water”. From the monumental epics of “Burn Down The Mission” and “60 Years On” to the sublime “Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters” and folksy “Country Comfort”. Additionally, “Your Song” and “Tiny Dancer” are unequivocal modern Pop/Rock standards. These are just a few of the fantastic chapters that make up the Early Elton Trio songbook. Early Elton has also performed the albums Tumbleweed ConnectionMadman Across The Water and the live concert 11 – 17 – 70 in their entireties.

Early Elton Trio is dedicated to continuing the spirit of this period—arguably, his finest in terms of material, production and performance.

POP 2000 TOUR

Lance Bass is the quintessential illustration of a highly successful and driven jack-of-alltrades: singer, host, actor, producer, writer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and cosmonaut. Beyond his fame as a member of the phenomenally successful group *NSYNC, where the group sold an impressive 60 million plus records worldwide, Bass has made himself a household name throughout the globe.

O-Town’s story began in 1999, when “Making the Band” chronicled the rise to success of O-Town throughout three seasons of the series on both ABC and MTV. The group’s first two full-length albums included #1 singles, “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing” and the Top 40 hit “We Fit Together.” “All or Nothing” was nominated for Song of the Year at the Radio Music Awards in 2001.

Aaron Carter’s first album went 5x platinum, and his second album, Aaron’s Party, featuring the hits “I Want Candy”, “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq” was released in 2000, went quadruple platinum, and was followed by two more triple platinum album releases. Aaron has appeared on popular TV series including “Lizzie McGuire” and “Dancing With The Stars.”

Ryan Cabrera is the singer and songwriter behind ubiquitous smashes such as “On the Way Down,” “True” and “Shine On” as well as albums including 2004’s Take It All Away, which hit #8 on the Billboard Top 200. Ryan was also featured heavily on MTV’s “Ashlee Simpson Show” and “The Hills”.

Tyler Hilton is best known for playing the fan-favorite character “Chris Keller” on the hit CW series “One Tree Hill”, as well as the role of “Elvis” in the Johnny Cash biopic “Walk The Line”. Tyler’s versions of “Missing You” and “When The Stars Go Blue” reached platinum status, as part of the One Tree Hill soundtrack.

SUMMER OF LOVE

The Summer of Love Concert focuses on iconic rock music from the period of time generally between the 1967 release of The Beatles revolutionary album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and the famous Woodstock Music and Art Festival in 1969 with music from artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Jefferson Airplane, The Association, The Turtles, The Beach Boys, Mamas and the Papas, Country Joe, Ravi Shankar, Procol Harum, Joe Cocker, Melanie, The Spencer Davis Group, Ike & Tina Turner, The Rascals, Chicago, The Zombies, Otis Redding, Sonny and Cher, Sly and The Family Stone and much more!
The Summer of Love Concert was created by Glen Burtnik, alumnus of Styx, the original Beatlemania on Broadway (he played Paul), touring bassist/vocalist with the current version of ELO, The Orchestra, member of The Weeklings, major label solo recording artist and hit songwriter. The Summer of Love Concert cast is comprised of approximately 15 performers including a horn section, strings, keyboardists, background vocalists and an incredible rock rhythm section who faithfully re-create “note for note and absolutely live”, the songs and the psychedelically flavored spirit of the Woodstock Generation. “I’ve always had a playlist on my IPod named The Summer of Love. I’m actually a hippie at heart. The music of that era is probably what moves me the most,” said Burtnik in a recent interview. To further enhance that experience, The Summer of Love Concert features Marc Rubinstein’s Pig Light Show which is recognized as one of the most famous psychedelic light shows in rock history and is well known for its use in the late 1960’s as the house light show at Bill Graham’s legendary New York City concert hall, the Fillmore East.

SHOOTER JENNINGS

The only son of country legends Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, Shooter Jennings literally spent his childhood on a tour bus. Shooter’s earliest years would see him cross paths with various legends of the folk, country, and outlaw rock scenes, from Willie Nelson to Johnny Cash.

Shooter seemed destined for a career in music, and like his father, he established himself as an artist who played by his own rules from the start. Shooter’s music was strongly informed by both hard rock and outlaw country, with 2006’s Electric Rodeo emphasizing the guitars and 2007’s The Wolf playing up his twangy side. With his project Hierophant, Jennings explored his interest in metal and electronic music, while 2016’s Countach paid homage to a seemingly unlikely influence, Euro-disco icon Giorgio Moroder. Through it all, Shooter’s gritty, passionate songwriting and vocals have remained a constant.

Born Waylon Albright Jennings, Shooter was playing drums by the time he was five years old and had already begun taking piano lessons, only to break them off and follow his own path to an understanding of the instrument. He discovered guitar at 14 and rock & roll (particularly Southern rock and the loose-limbed hard rock of Guns N’ Roses) at 16. Soon he moved from Nashville to L.A., where he assembled a rock band called Stargunn. Stargunn earned a strong local reputation for its live shows and enjoyed a six- or seven-year run on the L.A. circuit before Jennings rediscovered his outlaw country roots and dissolved the band.

Shooter’s solo debut album Put the “O” Back in Country was a main attraction in country music landscape and was #1 hit on the US BIllboard Top Heatseekers chart, and #22 on the US Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Seeing a Shooter Jennings concert is a blood-pumping, feet-stomping experience not to be missed.

LUKAS NELSON AND THE PROMISE OF THE REAL

Lukas Nelson knows all about legacies, indeed he’s been hard at work carving his own for most of his young but extremely eventful life. Balancing his work as the front man of Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real — an emergent and vital force in American music — with his regular gig as Neil Young’s band leader and lead guitarist — and of course, the never-ending road alongside his father in Willie Nelson & Family — in song after song, on stage after stage, Lukas has sharpened the edges of his singular sound, one that nods to his influences while also pushing forward into uncharted territory.

That original sound, straddling rock and roll, country, soul, folk and R&B, reaches a new high-water mark with Turn Off The News (Build A Garden), Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real’s second full-length release for Fantasy Records. Grounded by the band’s kinetic energy and shared musical ambition, the new album, written and recorded during the busiest stretch of their career, shines a light on Lukas’ timeless songwriting and the group’s undeniable chemistry.  For ten years running, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real — bassist Corey McCormick, drummer Anthony LoGerfo, percussionist Tato Melgar, and multi-instrumentalist Logan Metz — played an average of 250 shows all over the world while also serving as Neil Young’s go-to support ensemble.

Turn Off The News likewise arrives on the heels of Lukas’ high-profile collaboration with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper on 2018’s blockbuster film and soundtrack, A Star is Born. Lukas not only co-wrote and co-produced much of the film’s multi-platinum, Oscar-winning soundtrack, he also worked closely with Cooper in crafting Jackson Maine’s musical persona. In a classic case of art imitating life, Nelson, along with his real-life cohorts in Promise of the Real appear in the movie too, performing as Cooper’s (Jackson Maine’s) backing band just as they’ve performed with Young for years. Lukas, Gaga and Cooper recently won the BAFTA Award for Film Music, just one of the many accolades bestowed on the acclaimed project since its release.

STEVE MAGLIO

In 2004, I started performing Frank Sinatra tribute shows at The Carnegie Club in New York, and I’m still singing there every Saturday evening. I’ve had the pleasure of entertaining President & Mrs. Donald Trump, Lisa Lampanelli, Vic Damone, Connie Francis, Jackie Mason, Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, William Shatner, Brad Garrett, Dennis Farina, The Kennedy Family, and most of the cast of “The Sopranos,” just to name a few. As well as multiple sports figures, politicians, business moguls, and members of the press.

I’ve had the honor of sharing the stage with The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Frankie Valli, Wayne Newton, Dionne Warwick, Deana Martin, Tony Danza, Danny Aiello, Steve Tyrell, Joe Piscopo, Bucky Pizzarelli, Pat Cooper, Norm Crosby, Larry King, Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge, The Spinners, and on a few occasions with Frank Sinatra’s former pianist/conductor, Vincent Falcone, among others.

I’ve appeared in the movies, “Frank & Alice,” “Once Upon A Time In Brooklyn,” “Once More With Feeling,” and in the music video, “For One More Day.” I’ve also sung “The Tender Trap” on the soundtrack of “My Best Friend’s Girl.” In the Off-Broadway play, “Playing Sinatra,” my recordings of 11 popular Sinatra songs were used to replace the originals.

THE MACHINE

THE MACHINE performs Pink Floyd, America’s top Pink Floyd show, has forged a 30-year reputation for extending the legacy of Pink Floyd, selling out theaters, premier showcase rooms and casinos across North America, Europe and Asia, performing at renowned music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Riverbend, and Gathering of the Vibes, and sharing the stage with full symphony orchestras, including the Atlanta, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville and San Diego Symphonies, as well as the Buffalo Philharmonic.

The New York-based quartet performs a diverse mix of The Floyd’s extensive 16-album repertoire, complete with faithful renditions of popular hits as well as obscure gems. With stellar musicianship and passionate delivery, The Machine explores collective improvisation rivaling that of an early 1970’s Pink Floyd. Their use of expanded theatrical elements and elaborate stage displays and lighting continues in the spirit of the later Floyd of the 1980’s. The band is also known for recreating entire albums as a part of their show, accepting requests from fans, and for taking an A to Z approach in which one song is played for every letter of the alphabet. Special shows include lasers by the same company that provides classic Pink Floyd laser effects for Roger Waters and David Gilmour tours.

The members of The Machine include founding members Joe Pascarell (guitar, vocals) and Tahrah Cohen (drums), and long time band mates Stephen Bard (bass, vocals) and Scott Chasolen (keys, vocals).

JaCoB THE BAND

JaCoB The Band, is a Hudson Valley New York area trio of young musicians.   The band made their festival stage debut this summer at The New Orange County Fair, opening for Manchester Orchestra, Badflower and AJR.

The band’s unique name is a clever portmanteau of the three members first names, “Ja” for drummer Jake, “Co” for bassist Conor and “B” for guitarist and lead singer, Brooke. Influenced by the alternative rock bands of their youth, JaCoB has a familiar but wholly original sound.

Not trying to shy away from their DIY aesthetic, their debut EP is simply titled “Jake’s Basement” named for where it was recorded. Featuring 3 original songs: Overboard, Perfect Choice and Troubled Times, the EP is currently available for streaming on Spotify and for purchase on iTunes. A full length album is also in the works.”.

In March 2012, we once again set sail on Yeamon Cruise 2012 with over 100 fans joining the band on the Carnival Freedom where the band performed on board as well as at the Smokin’ Tuna Saloon in Key West, FL.  In November of that same year, the band was named “Entertainer of the Year” at the Trop Rock Music Awards held in Key West, FL, and honor which was repeated in November of 2014.  . Also in 2014, the band once again took over the high seas for “Yeamon Fun Cruise”.  The band performed on board the Carnival Splendor as well as in port at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos.  The band also traveled to the Four Seasons in Nevis, West Indies, in 2014 to perform for a corporate event.  Our fifth Yeamon Cruise took place in April 2016, when we once again traveled with over 100 fans on the Norwegian Breakway to Bermuda, offering fans several performances on board.  Plans are currently in the works for Yeamon Cruise 2018!”

THE FELICE BROTHERS

Cut live to tape with very little overdubbing, Undress was recorded in the late summer of 2018 in Tivoli, New York. Band members Ian Felice, James Felice, Will Lawrence (drums) and Jesske Hume (bass) teamed up with producer Jeremy Backofen to record their most personal and reflective album to date.

“Many of the songs on the new album are motivated by a shift from private to public concerns,” says songwriter Ian Felice. “It isn’t hard to find worthwhile things to write about these days, there are a lot of storms blooming on the horizon and a lot of chaos that permeates our lives. The hard part is finding simple and direct ways to address them.”
Undress follows the band’s 2016 album Life In The Dark, and finds the group in a very different place three years later. Between personnel changes, families growing and the political landscape, the result is a tighter, more-paired down release. “Every song is a story,” said James Felice. “On this album everything was a bit more thoughtful, including the arrangements, the sonic quality and the harmonies.”

Ian and James Felice grew up in the Hudson valley of upstate NY. Self taught musicians, inspired as much by Hart Crane and Whitman as by Guthrie and Chuck Berry, they began in 2006 by playing subway platforms and sidewalks in NYC and have gone on to release nine albums of original songs and to tour extensively throughout the world. Following the release of Life in the Dark, The Felice Brothers served as the backing band for Conor Oberst’s 2017 release Salutations and the subsequent tour.

DR K’s MOTOWN REVUE

Without a doubt, The Motown Sound has left an indelible stamp on the heart, soul and mind of several generations of fans world-wide. Over the years many of the artist and writers responsible for bringing to the world this incredible body of work has passed on. The music however, lives on through movies, radio, television commercials, collectible CD’s, dance halls, weddings and karaoke clubs. It’s not just the songs but the memories associated with them that have forever imprinted the Motown Sound in the hearts and souls of music fans. Without even consciously realizing it, we all know every lyric, melody and instrumental phrases associated with the songs. So much so that if a live band plays the songs and leaves out any of these memorable licks, we know it and subconsciously add it in ourselves.

That brings us to Paul Korman and his visionary quest to create the ultimate Motown tribute band. He has put together an amazing array of seasoned musicians and singers that he’s either played with or wanted to play with over the years. Together they have become Dr. K’s Motown Revue. This outstanding band of musicians and signers takes you on ea very realistic journey of the Motown sound, and makes you want to sing along on every familiar song they play. They have kept the Motown sound true to its roots and each and every performance they do transports you back to another era . . . what a ride! Every audience both young and not so young can’t help dancing to that Motown beat, often leaving at the end of the night asking where they can see and hear the band next. Their appeal in large part is attributable to the perfect blend of the Motown era costumes worn and the outstanding group of singers who compliment this latter day “Funk Brothers” type band of musicians. Each singer is quite capable of fronting any band as a soloist and the combination of singers is more than enough to deliver authentically the vocal sound of the Motown roster of artists from that time. The result is a powerhouse performance that adds not only to their reputation but to the reputation of any venue that books them.”

JIM BREUER

Not long after Jim Breuer did his first official standup gig in Clearwater, Florida, in 1989, industry folks began asking him, “What’s your point of view?” “I don’t know…” He searched for a meaningful response to a ridiculous question. “To make people laugh?”

The freewheeling, New York bred comic storyteller – who made the list of Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Standups of All Time” – is hotter than ever, a global touring sensation and regular presence on radio and television whose rabid audience, he’s thrilled to note, is filled with “lifetimers.” Once folks see him live, they’re hooked. Breuer estimates that 78% of his fans have seen him “five, six, seven” times. It’s becoming a family thing, with parents even bringing young teens to see the family man and father of three daughters, all providing genius “dad” material for his sets. Having evolved both personally and professionally since the beginning, Breuer’s pleased to say he’s been F-word free for ten years and counting.

Breuer came to national attention during his seasons on Saturday Night Live (1995-98), a rebuilding era whose cast featured Will Ferrell, David Spade and Norm McDonald. But don’t call him “Goat Boy” (one of his characters on SNL) or ask him to do his Joe Pesci impression. Those things are eons ago. Some even still associate him with “Half Baked,” a stoner comedy flick from around that time that starred Dave Chappelle and featured cameos by Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Tommy Chong.
