Notes for Hope features music from 4 Hudson Valley acts and is emceed by Frank Truatt and Taylor Sterling of Warwick’s WTBQ Radio with a lineup including: The Chloe Bee Band, Furnace Creek, Wickham Falls and The E’Lissa Jones Band. The first act goes off at 4pm with the show wrapping up around 9PM. Patrons will get an hour intermission in which they can view, or purchase artworks created by local fine artists from 6 to 7PM on display in the SLPAC lobby.
There’s something for all music lovers with this eclectic lineup of artists. Starting the show off with her genre-bending sound is Chloe Bee. Chloe Bee is an award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, effortlessly blending jazz, R&B and pop. Her jazz experience and education have provided her with access to the best young musicians in the country. These award winning jazz musicians make up the Chloe Bee Band.
Orange County’s own Furnace Creek is an Indie-Rock band who released their first full length album in 2020. Members Dan Wixtrom, Mark Hurey, Justin Cole and Ian “Yendawg” O’Neill recorded the album at Emergence Church in Totowa NJ over the course of close to 4 years, starting in 2016. The 10-track, “Past My Prime” is available to stream now on Spotify.
Wickham Falls, an alt-rock foursome from Orange County, released their first album “To Pluto” in 2020, comprised of original music that dates back to founding band members Conor and Brooke’s high school years. Now, members Brooke Nilson, Conor Larsen, Lilly Nicholson, and Luke Nicholson are back on stage with new music as they continue to develop their unique sound. Closing out the evening’s lineup is the E’lissa Jones Band. In addition to her beautiful singing voice, E’lissa Jones is known as a prolific songwriter, violinist, pianist, and guitarist with a range from folk to rock in her catalogue of over 250 original songs. Throughout her career she has performed and toured with many legends and has recorded and released six albums (available on her website or streaming on Spotify).
Tickets for Notes for Hope are $10 plus donation and are available now through Ticketmaster at OMEEVENTS.COM. Ticket proceeds benefit the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry for which donations will also be collected at the event door opening at 3PM. Patrons can also visit the OME Box office at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on Fridays from 5-7PM to purchase tickets for any OME event so get your tix in advance!
