Orange Motorsports and Entertainment (OME) is back for the Summer of 2021 with a robust lineup of concerts, hosted at Middletown NY’s Orange County Fair Speedway (OCFS). It all starts this Sunday, June 27th with country rockers, Blackberry Smoke with support from Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, Nick Perri and the Underground Thieves and Sahara Moon.

In 2019, OME brought Tim McGraw to the Speedway’s Stadium for Orange County’s largest concert event in years. Plans to go even bigger with a full slate of concerts in 2020 were derailed when the Covid-19 pandemic struck. Now, with restrictions finally easing and a better handle on the virus for summer 2021, OME made the early decision to start booking a full lineup of summer concerts. The 2021 lineup was the creation not only of OME, but of the partnership formed between OME and The Bowery Presents. Bowery has lent their expertise for booking and marketing the shows, while OME provides the perfect location and will produce the events.

The summer lineup favors the Rock and Country genres, which perfectly compliment the aesthetic of the fairgrounds’ multiple venues. A new area on the grounds, “The Barn”, surrounds a converted barn that once housed show animals and their caretakers when the county fair was more of an agricultural event. Now the actual barn building serves as the backdrop for an outdoor venue with bring your own chair lawn seating.   Blackberry Smoke is set to debut The Barn stage with Sunday June 27th’s show. Then right around the corner on July 2nd at The Barn, The Summerland Tour 2021, featuring Alt-Rockers Everclear, Living Colour, Hoobastank, Wheatus and Orange County’s own Wickham Falls. To cap off a week jammed with events, The Barn will also feature The Orange County Stampede Rodeo Festival on July 4th, a full day of Bull Riding, Roping, Barrel Racing and more events.

In August, OME takes it to the big stage. Toby Keith on Sunday August 1st will take place at the Orange County Fair Speedway’s stadium, where weekly racing events still take place from April-October for over 100 years. Here fans will be able to enjoy the show from seats in the covered grandstands or standing room and floor seats closer to the stage. August 26th’s Brantley Gilbert show and September 11th’s “It Was 50 Years Ago Today – Beatles White Album” with Christopher Cross, Jason Scheff (formerly of Chicago), Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, Deen Castronovo (formerly of Journey) and Joey Molland of Badfinger will also take place at the OCFS Stadium.
